bible story telling competition

louisa was complaining why sunday school hadn't organized any competitions like, bible story telling, psalm recitation, and singing competions for quite a while (i remembered they were quite obsessed bout these when i was a kid)

Hehe,her wish was granted when ZhenZHu jie, the headmaster of sunday school really organized one on 24th, last sunday. Louisa kinda regretted that she was complaining about this..

Being someone who loved kids (a good photographer as well), i brought along my camera and managed to capture lots of interesting moments..

The kids are quite nervous, some are super nervous actually..esp the young ones. So, papa went up the stage and started to make everyone laugh with his story and his actions. When it's the show time, still, lots of them of nervous.. A girl close her eyes while reading the Lord's Prayer so that she cant see the many pairs of staring eyes... KAWAI~

A girl was playing with her hair, maybe trying to hide her face with her ponytail from the moment her name was called till her very last sentence... Another covered her face with her script, so close that she cant even read from it..

A girl totally forgot wat's the purpose she stood on the stage, stared at a teacher standing at the side with confused eyes.. and she ended up singing in a story-telling competition.. haha, cute! After the competition is over, our lil' contestor here finally had apetite to eat her lunch.. Can see how stress she was before this.. ahhaha! Really glad that this event turned out to be a successful one and hope that all the lil' ones did learn lessons from the stories they told and take them into practice in life.. jia you! Lil's soldiers of christ!

Ethan and WenXuan

Ethan and WenXuan..

The earlier i just met in the last trip to kk, the later i've known since she was born. Really glad to have both of them in our trip. It was great fun to play with them.

Let me introduce the two lil' cuttie..

Ethan was born in US, and is living in US. He had just turned 3, speaks good English, and have the sweetest voice (inherit it from his parents). He's a good boy, have listening ears and sings beautiful hymns that melts ppl's hearts.

WenXuan is 6 this year, she eats a lot (only high-carbohydrate food i.e. potato and rice). Her grandma feeds her alot. And, i guess she was taught since small not to waste food. Hence, watever u put on her plate, even if she's sulking, she will finish it..

Despite of her cuteness, she's our

sulky queen too. She is jealous of Ethan whenever Ethan's around as we will pay more attention to Ethan. I caught a few moment of her sulking.. Classic~

Hope that the two of them will grow up in the love of their family and from their Father in Heaven.

Death often creeps silently, never give the slightest notice to anyone that it's coming. Noone can ever be prepared for death. Death symbolizes our sin, it symbolizes the end of the life we have on earth, it symbolizes the commence of eternal life, whether in hell or in heaven. Death is often cruel, brings tears and pain. Noone would ever wanna face death if we could choose.

Yesterday, i came across Yl's blog with the title, 'Bye Gilbert'. This alarms me, could it be that... Later at night, Mel confirmed with me that Gilbert had passed away. YL must be mourning over his death, he's her precious. Even the death of a pet will sadden and brings pain and tears. Not to say the death of a soul, of a human. Such suffering brings great pain. Hope that everyone on earth will have the chance to know about jesus and will use the freewill god gave to us wisely.

Trepidation!

Zam told me a moment ago that there's a murder in Croydon Road, a street next to Dilston Rd where we'll be staying in Yr 2.
This gruesome murder ended the life of 2 chinese students who are in their prime. This news sent me goosebumps.. I dun understand, why people kills. This deeply frightens and saddens me and my family. Dear Lord, i know this evil sin hurt u even more than we can imagine. We pray that angels will guard and send peace to the family of the deceased. -RIP-
And i dearly pray that God will continue to protect everyone of us who will be staying there. Amen

Silver Lining

Hooray! Indeed, Every cloud has a silver lining.
Mum also devastated when i told her that we might not be able to see ethan's cute faces and hear his cute singing voice anymore. The efficient her called the computer expert in our family, cousin Ngie. He said, it might probably caused by some insects crawled into the cpu and caused it to burnt. The hard disc has a chance to survive!
that's a GREAT NEWS! thanks god! Hard disc, hang on there! be sound!

Oh no!

Still no news yet about the CPU, so now our laptops have to overwork. i guess youngsters nowadays can never live without a laptop on their laps with internet connection, no matter how slow it is, as long as it works. Quote Mr. Guong, 'Behold, IDOLS, IDOLS!!'

Suddenly i recalled something, and i can hear my heart started cracking.. ALL THE PHOTOS WE TOOK IN KK WAS IN THE HARD DISC!!! PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF ETHAN, EZRA AND XUAN XUAN! No!!!!!!!!!! Damn it! Why break down now?! W-H-Y!

Now can only pray that the hard disc is still safe and sound. *fingers-crossed*
