Countdown to Term 1 exam: 11 days!!
During the last two assignments, always have this monologue inside my head: i would rather have exam than essays.
But now, i think i prefer essays. Can hardly focus on my notes with my lappy just lying beside, with facebook and youtube waving enthusiastically at me...
Really looking forward to the last day of the term, have been planning a lot lately...
list of things to do once holiday commences:
1. Shopping and clubbing maybe with housies
2. Moonlight Resonance which i saved since the start of second year.
3. Season 4 of House!!
4. Rewatch F.R.I.E.N.D.S.. ma all time favourite!
5. Get a copy of Kite Runner
haih, how i wish it's 12th of december now....

feeling too warm?
On our way back from J&J's house tonight, saw a naked guy (yes, butt naked) walking through bushes in a park...
what on earth is he thinking? *shrug*
well, we're guessing that it's 9 degree celcius tonight.. quite warm for a winter night in newcastle, he might thought of having a cool stroll in the park after gallons of alcohol...

Doodle
Had D-most boring lecture on statistics today (excluding the few physiology and behaviour science lectures we had, the lecturer somehow reminds me of Umbridge)...
however, the lecture was not entirely fruitless...

'Baby life as experienced in lectures'

Baby No1: ZAMRI, recalling 'sweet' time with Mr. Badar

Baby No2: Joshua who started to get busy missing someone~

Baby No3: Cecil, aka Sleepy, one of the 7 dwarfs..
(eversince a weekend deprived of sleep in notts, i'm soo sleepy every afternoon this week. fishing everywhere in medical school...too old to skip bed time)

Baby No4: Jo, infected by sleepy germs

Baby No5: Jamie, Miss Doodler
Well, dentistry is all bout arts... =)

post-essay treat
Finally, we're done with our Oral Environment essay. As a treat, we went to Nando's before our choir practice... It is a joint 'celebration' for the end of an essay and the immediate commencement of our dental tissue project. woohoo~

(Seriously need to stop eating out, have been spending so much money on food.. plus the guiltiness when i'm on the scales... >.<)
*****
Learned something interesting today.
Alcohol-dose-response effects:
1. 0 - 50mg/100ml
euphoria, lack of co-ordination, impaired attention, reduced reaction time
2. 50 -100mg/100ml
ataxia, dysarthria, nystigmus, hyperactive conjunctiva, loss of judgement
3. 100 - 200mg/100ml
confusion, memory loss, dilated pupil
4. 200 - 300mg/100ml
apathy, vomiting, inability to stand/walk, stupor, incontinence
5. >300mg/100ml
coma, hyperthermia, absent reflexes, respiratory depression, death
Next time when the evil trio in action again, can pick which effect desired and then only prescribe the amount of alcohol!! X)

Satisfying Thursday
It was a really satisfying day. why?
because...
1. I got ma railcard. Am all ready to go to notts for the reunion!

2. I've completed the first draft of my essay on dental erosion! This is such a big achievement for me who is forever a prey of procrastination. but, there's still lots of editing to do.
3. I managed to cycle uphill back home from medical school without having to get off the bike and push it! wooohooo~ this, my friend, is the biggest achievement of all! X)
and, pF, Maha, and i came with a hypothesis that u'll weight a kilo or two lighter here than in malaysia. why? gravity? hmmm.....
