key clinical skill

Have been doing some drilling and amalgam fillings on both permanent and plastic deciduous teeth in the clinical simulation unit. Things are not going on that well. either my retentive box for approximal caries doesn't have a floor, or too far into the body of the tooth, or off the contact point.
it's so FRUSTRATING.... i remembered staring blankly at one tooth for about 15 minutes trying to figure out where should i start cutting, worrying that i would screw it up again. and not much sessions for us to polish up our skills, the assessment is on this coming tuesday! *fingers-crossed* besides that, have to crane my neck peeping into the mouth of the manikin while trying to sit upright for 3 hours long each sessions. i need a massage! i hope i won't be one of the dentists who woke up in the morning and couldn't turn their necks and backs...

senile me

I left my house + locker key on the keyhole of my house door today!! how senile can i be? thank god noone took it. imagine all the trouble it would cause!
but, it's not totally my fault...
anyway, thanksgiving time!
